Feudal System
The feudal system in medieval Japan that showed the order of the amount of power that each role had in that time period and were they stood in order. The tip of the pyramid is the role that held the most amount of power, and the bottom of the pyramid held the least amount of power. The classes that held the most amount of power were Emperor, Shogun, Daimyo and Samurai. Although these 4 positions were the most powerful in Japan at the time, they made up only roughly 10% of the total population, while roughly 90% were peasants and below.
